Easier to understand his thesis on tribes when he puts it in terms of the election, something we can all relate to. Takeaway for me: it's easier to make the slightly motivated do something than try to convince the totally unmotivated. Sounds so obvious, but how many times have I chased my tail trying to convince people with no interest in losing weight to adopt the lifestyle changes my site advocates???
