China has a 300 million strong middle classwhich isabout the total population of the United States. The Chinese save more then the U.S., but as I mentioned, savvy government officials and businesses can get them to part with their money. Being raised in the United States under democracy and capitalism. Pure capitalism or democracy (look at California and India as two examples) run rampant can have as many issues as pure communism (look at the old Soviet Union).

Interesting viewpoint about the scenario in China. It will be interesting to see how they evolve in this global economy where they will be (if they aren't already) the number one consuming country in the world. What is most fascinating here to me is seeing them overshadowing the U.S. as the leading consuming country. The U.S. being a free-market democratic republic and China being a 100% taxation (communism) country trying to have the best of communism and free-market systems. Let's see what happens! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
